Job Vacancy – Young Person’s Welfare Rights Adviser (Part Time)

Hours: 22.5 p/w Part Time

Salary: £23, 396 pro rata (actual £14,037)

Contract: Fixed term – 1 year

As part of an exciting new pilot project funded through CAMHS we are looking for a Young Person’s Welfare Rights Adviser. The successful candidate will work in the Integrated Community Response Service. You will provide welfare rights, housing and general  debt advice for young people age 13-18 years in Salford, who are experiencing mental or emotional distress. This will involve working with young people and their families to help them to understand their rights and entitlements and maximize their income if possible. Providing benefits advice, help with form filling, general debt advice/household budgeting and advice on housing issues.
