Mind In Salford - For Better Mental Health

Mental Health Awareness Training

We provide Mental Health Awareness Training to organisations and companies throughout Greater Manchester.  The training takes participants through mental health definitions, the needs of people with mental health issues and how to respond, myth busting and tackling stigma around mental ill health plus how to look after our own mental health and wellbeing.

Workplace Training

We can provide our training sessions on-site in your workplace (see costs/details below).

By procuring mental health awareness training or mindfulness sessions from Mind in Salford you will be supporting us to continue to offer free mindfulness courses to people with mental health issues on low or no income in the local community; this can also contribute to your Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

Training for Individuals

We regularly offer mental health and advocacy/rights training days at our training room here at Mind in Salford.  These training days are suitable for anyone who is seeking an awareness and understanding of mental health conditions. The course will be of particular interest to those who come into contact with people with mental health conditions as part of their work, for the family or friends of people experiencing mental health conditions who would benefit from information and guidance and for anyone with an interest in learning more about this subject.

Current Training Days Available

We currently offer two distinct one day training sessions  – these are focused on adult mental health.  The training days are comprehensive and delivered by a member of our training team – experienced professionals working in the field of mental health.  The training days involve interactive elements with opportunities to put learning into practice and resource packs are supplied for each participant.  Shorter bespoke sessions are also available – please contact suzanne@mindinsalford.org.uk
