* Suicide First Aid (Accredited by City & Guilds) - 13th of September
This course teaches the theory and practice of suicide intervention skills, that can be applied in any professional or personal setting.
* Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) - 7/8th of October
MHFA teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and to provide initial help and support – just like physical first aiders do for people with injuries or physical ill health.
There are some key dates throughout the year that provide good opportunities to start the conversation around mental health.
These dates also offer a great chance to tackle stigma and discrimination and to take time to consider how to support your own wellbeing.
