Whether you’re feeling burned out, navigating shame, or just looking for a space to reconnect with yourself and community—RadSec is here for you.

What is this service?

Radical Self Care is an 8-week online group course designed by and for LGBTQIA+ people. It’s all about building resilience, reclaiming self-worth, and learning practical self-care and mindfulness tools that honour the realities of our lives and identities.

What to expect

-Tools for grounding, mindfulness, and emotional balance
-Support to unlearn internalised negativity and shame
-A focus on self-acceptance, self-worth, and authentic self-care
-Space held with compassion, where your lived experience is centred

The best part? It’s completely free and available UK-wide, with sessions mainly delivered online—so you can join from wherever you are.

This isn’t therapy, and it’s not about fixing you—it’s about affirming you. We use a strengths-based approach grounded in recent research, which shows real improvements in wellbeing and reductions in self-criticism, shame, and perfectionism.
