The Big Mental Health Report 2025
The Big Mental Health Report, produced by Mind, is for anyone looking for trusted information on how mental health problems affect people in England and Wales. With support from Centre for Mental Health and Mind’s external research partners they’ve brought together data about mental health problems, stigma and discrimination, alongside real people’s experiences, into one annual report, to give a full picture of the state of mental health right now which builds year on year. This way, we can track the state of the nation’s mental health and continuously seek to improve it.
The Big Mental Health Report shows us where we need to focus our efforts most. As the biggest providers of mental health support outside of the NHS in England, local Minds already see the gaps in the mental health system and build life-changing support services to fill them. The insight from this report helps Mind to continue working with local Minds to create a new generation of mental health support services where they’re needed most. It helps shape campaigns we run to change the mental health system. Put simply, it’s helping us make bigger changes, faster – and we hope it does the same for other organisations and decision makers too.
