Free Mindfulness Drop In Sessions
We run both in person and online mindfulness sessions for people who are interested in giving mindfulness a go. All sessions are suitable for mindfulness beginners and experts alike!
The teacher will guide you through the practices. No experience needed, and you don’t need to bring anything with you, just a willingness to give it a go.
Mindfulness can help us to feel more grounded, experiencing moments of calm and peace rather than worry and anxiety, and can help us to be kinder to ourselves and others. We can be mindful by practising meditation which means sitting/ lying down and focusing on the breath and body.

Thursday 23rd Dec 6-7pm
Being in the present moment with a focus on being with the breath and body to help us ground and centre. At this time of year there can be more demands on our time. We can find ourselves being swept up into the chaos and hustle and bustle, the endless to-do-lists, rushing from one thing to the next that we lose a sense of being grounded. Join us for an hour of ‘me time’, a space to pause, ground and come back to the senses.
Monday 27th Dec 11-12pm
Letting go and finding peace in the moment. Winter is a time for letting go and resting, just like the leaves that fall in preparation for new growth in the spring. We too can find nourishment in letting go, in resting back and allowing space for new growth. We will focus on finding rest in meditation and how within rest we can find peace in the body, heart and mind.
Wednesday 29th Dec 6-7pm
A chance to pause, reflect and ask ‘how am I doing?’ Finding ways to be kind to ourselves through mindful enquiry. In the period between Christmas and new year we can often feel a bit lost, tired, and perhaps even relieved that all the preparations, the planning, the anxiety and stress of Christmas starts to ease. This is the perfect time to check-in on how we are doing, what can we do to resource and nourishing ourselves so that we can enjoy this time?
Monday 3rd Jan 11am-12pm
New year, new start, finding compassion in the moment. New Year is often a time for resolutions, getting fit, cutting down on food and alcohol, and looking towards the future. However during this time we may experience pressure from ourselves or others, to achieve something, to be better, to always be looking to the future, which may feel daunting. What if we could find contentment in the now and found a fresh start in each moment?
