Debt and Employment Advice Organisations
We recognise that money problems exacerbate mental health problems, and can bring on bad episodes if your mental health fluctuates. If you experience anxiety or depression, you may feel tempted to ignore the problem and hope that it will go away. You may become too afraid to open any official-looking envelopes or answer the phone.
If you are in financial difficulty, you may feel ashamed or scared and not want to talk to others about it. Our advisers will help you to regain control and will not be judgmental.
Due to high referral numbers, unfortunately we are not able to help everyone who contacts us. However, there are lots of other national and local organisations that provide constructive advice for people struggling with debt. Our recommended list is as follows:
